Tours, Tasting, and Sales

Winery Hours
Winery is open for free tasting, free tours and wine sales:
Summer Hours (April 15, 2015 through November 29, 2015):   Our tasting room will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, noon to 5pm.

Winter Hours (December 5, 2015 through April 17, 2016):   Our tasting room will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4:30pm.
 
The winery is available by appointment at other times or for groups larger than 10 people -

Art at the Winery


April 2015
"PLACITAS STUDIO TOUR PREVIEW"

The art on display at the winery for the entire month of April will be samples of the works of the artist who will be participating in the Placitas Studio Tour.  Many of the artists will be in attendance for the Fruits of the Earth event on Saturday evening, April 25th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Events are at the winery in Placitas, NM unless otherwise noted.

May 9-10, 2015     PLACITAS STUDIO TOUR
On Mother’s Day weekend, fifty-eight Placitas artists will “Open Their Doors” to the public at fifty studios, offering a wide array of fine arts — paintings, wearable art, photography, ceramics, woodworking, glass art, jewelry, mosaics, sculptures, metalwork, and mixed media, including found and re-cycled objects.
 
10:00am to 5:00pm.
Throughout the Placitas area. 


May 17, 2015     POETRY ON THE HILL: Andi Penner and Joanne Bodin
Join us at UnQuarked -- The Wine Room in Los Alamos for an afternoon of poetry.

Doors open at noon. Featured readers from 1:00 to 3:00 with an open reading following. Wine and cheese trays available for purchase.

12:00pm to 4:00pm.  $5 admission goes to Poets' Fund

May 23-25, 2015     ALBUQUERQUE WINE FEST
Bringing together wineries from around the state, food, arts and crafts vendors, and live music in a relaxed setting, the Albuquerque Wine Festival is the place to be Memorial weekend!

June 13, 2015     KNIT IN PUBLIC WITH THE DROPPED STITCH KNITTERS GUILD - WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY

Knit, crochet, even spin if you want! Talk, eat, drink, relax…

What to bring:
      All you need to bring is your project and lunch or snack, water or soda; wine is available.

Open to the public. This KNIT IN PUBLIC event is hosted by: Kay Smith, Dropped Stitch Knitters

July 4-5, 2015     SANTA FE WINE FESTIVAL at El Rancho de las Golondrinas

November 21-22, 2015     PLACITAS  HOLIDAY SALE
For over 30 years this annual art festival has been reknowned for extremely high quality fine arts and crafts, good food, fine local wine and a very friendly atmosphere. The fair takes place at 3 locations in the village of Placitas, long known as a home to many artists and artisans. 

Locations: Anasazi Fields Winery, Placitas Elementary School, Big Tent east of Las Placitas Presbyterian Church.

10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday 
10:00am to 4:30pm on Sunday
